Empty, Stone, paper. Enrique Asensi - Joanpere Massana

EMPTY, STONE, PAPER

EMPTY, STONE, PAPER

The exhibition "EMPTY, STONE, PAPER" displays sculptures by Enrique Asensi (b. 1950) and paintings by Joanpere Massana (b. 1968) and is in the game apart with different materials with the contrast between the subtle poetry Massanas and expressive rationality Asensis. Asensi deals with the nature of the materials, and focus on geometric shapes and the structure of matter itself His sculptures seem big and rough. Thus they stand in contrast to Massanas paintings, which are characterized by the dominant white, delicate drawings, organic shapes and sublime details. Massana paints, draws, and collages, and thus combines poetry with matter. sculptures, paintings and drawings to each other in interaction. A completely new experience of individual materials such as steel, stone and paper with them when it says: knick, knacks, paper beats rock schnuck
